| The periodic use of Solvex-10 or TW Light flushing fluid reduces the number of times a mechanical pump requires overhaul. After draining used oil, simply refill the mechanical pump with the flushing fluid. Run the pump with its inlet valve closed and gas ballast open for about 45 minutes or until pump is hot to touch. Drain the fluid. If it is dark colored, repeat the procedure. When the fluid comes out lightly colored, the pump is ready to be charged with fresh vacuum pump fluid. |
